Sandra described her wedding to Adam as being a "Danish, Swedish, English, Jewish wedding", and warned me that it would not be like many other Jewish weddings I'd shot in the past. Ordained as a Rabbi, Sandra is pretty unconventional and her and Adam lead a life that is as environmentally friendly as possible, so choosing the Magdalen Farm was a natural fit.
Their day started with a first look, where they met up before the ceremony to have some time alone and some portraits, and then their little boy joined them before they walked to the barn where their wedding ceremony was to take place. Their guests were led from reception drinks to the ceremony by friends playing guitars, it was really such a lovely start to an amazing day.
After the ceremony, cream teas were served, followed by dance lessons for everyone - a way to guarantee that, after the meal, the dance floor would be packed! It was so much fun to share Sandra and Adam's day, and I loved every minute of it.
