Chelsea Town Hall Wedding - A London Pub Wedding
Natalie and Mike got married at Chelsea Town Hall - one of my favourite London registry offices, the staff there are so lovely. On the day, the registrar had issues with the music and, at one point, called Mike by the wrong name (Did we ever discover who "Steve" is?!) but this, for Nat and Mike, just added to the stories that they'd remember from their day. It was a fantastic day - one of the only sunny days this year, and we had a wonderful time strolling through Primrose Hill after their wedding day, before re-joining the guests at The Washington pub in Belsize Park. The party then really started, and I know how excited Nat and Mike were to relax and celebrate with their guests.
They booked a singer for their evening entertainment, so after some incredibly moving and funny speeches, we were all entertained by Andrew from "Born to Swing". You might recognise Andrew from Britain's Got Talent, he was a runner up a few years ago, and sung as you'd expect from someone who'd won over Simon Cowell - he was amazing! However, Natalie met some of her closest friends when she was training at the American Musical Theatre School in London, so when a few of her friends jumped on the second mic, they really did give Andrew a run for his money! The party was amazing and I left them dancing away, on such a high. What a way to kick off my 2018 wedding season!
