A London wedding was the only way as far as Sophie and Tom were concerned - they met in London, they live in London, their friends are all in London, and when they discovered the beautiful St Stephen Walbrook church (almost opposite Cannon Street station), they knew that they just had to get married there. It's such a beautiful church - and, from a photography point of view, has amazing light - a dome ceiling and circular building - so different to many old churches in London. And Jamie's Italian on Threadneedle Street is just so dramatic and imposing, while being so welcoming and, of course, serving amazing food, was an easy choice for reception venue.
The stunning flowers, from Jennifer Pinder, blew me away - I could not believe how utterly gorgeous they were! I'd recommend her in a heartbeat!
I had so much fun photographing Sophie and Tom's wedding, I loved every minute of it (especially when one of their guests decided to teach me that anyone can dance - even an utter clutz like me!) - it was an amazing day, and I know they had an incredible honeymoon afterwards (Instagram made me sick with jealousy seeing their gorgeous holiday in Singapore and Bali) and I know they've got an amazing lifetime of happiness ahead of them.
