It was my first time in Liverpool, and I couldn't have asked for a more lovely couple or a better venue in the boutique Hope Street Hotel, and in Loz and Matt. I was so welcomed, first by the city (the staff in shops, in restaurants, even the bus drivers were all SO friendly!) and then by Matt and Loz's families. I know it's a cliché, but the people of Liverpool were every bit as friendly as I've heard.
Loz and Matt both love fireworks, so the chance to get married on Bonfire Night was too much to pass up - and, although their ceremony was too early for the majority of the fireworks, I was so thrilled to get one lone firework in frame during the portrait session. I love the simplicity of Loz's wedding dress and I completely fell for her rose gold shoes - my favourite this year, I think.
By strange coincidence, Loz went to school with Sarah, who I photographed at Millbridge Court just 6 weeks before (it really is a small world!)
I have just one more wedding left now for 2016 - it's a London wedding between Christmas and New Year, and then it's full steam ahead to a very busy 2017 - I am so excited. This year has been completely amazing, and I know that 2017 is going to be even better!
