Lucy and John Having you shoot our wedding was truly a wonderful experience. You have a fabulous style and made us both feel so at ease in front of the camera with great results. We couldn't have asked for more throughout the whole process and we really felt like we had an extra friend with us on the day who just happened to be a great photographer!  What to say about Eliza, where do I start?! OMG just brilliant! Photography was the one thing that John and I knew from the off that we wanted to invest in as we both love good photos and having seen the terrible results of a lot of 'wedding photographers' we wanted someone we could trust. We met Eliza and immediately loved her and her work – she's an absolute professional and it was a joy to have a friend there on the day  not an anonymous person with a lens! We'd also absolutely recommend having the pre-wedding shoot that she does as part of her work anyway….such amazing fun!

“Eliza has given us a stunning account of our wedding day, her pictures tell a story. She captured the mood of the day beautifully and the more you look at her pictures, the more you see. My main aim when I was looking for a photographer was to get pictures that we would actually WANT to put on our walls, something funky and different, she certainly gave us this. Yet I had no idea that she would have such a unique way of capturing the whole day. It was such a whirlwind and it’s fantastic to be able to relive it so vividly.

She really got our style of vintage-lego wedding. I love Eliza’s pictures of the day as they really capture all of the action and captured people in the moment. The photos are lovely and natural and aren’t too staged and formal which was perfect for us.

Marie and Simon - Back Yard Wedding, Suffolk
I’m far far happier behind the camera and Simon likes to throw in a mix of 80's catalogue poses wherever possible so in almost 11 years together we have very few decent photo’s together. Poor Eliza  had her work cut out! I love  Eliza's style of photography, so whimsical.  Eliza was the first person we booked for our wedding way back when we were still in Sydney, in fact we set our wedding date according to when she was free because we both loved her work so much.

After searching online I came across a wedding photographer Eliza Claire. The style of her work was just what we were after. Neither of us are very comfortable in front of  camera so finding Eliza,  who is so lovely  and down to earth, immediately put us at ease. We had a pre-wedding shoot which I highly recommend as it really prepared us for the day. Eliza captured our day so beautifully I can honestly say there has not been a single day gone by I haven't sneaked a peek, it's like reliving the whole day again.

Dulcie and Seb - Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, Oxford
Eliza was wonderful to deal with from the first email all the way through planning to the day itself. On the day, Eliza and her assistant were professional and unobtrusive but also happy to get involved, help out and full of smiles and enjoyment of our day, which made both us and our guests comfortable and relaxed. Eliza took on board the style of our day and took photographs which really captured the atmosphere - not one photo felt like a "standard" shot. Eliza really gets to know her couples and you can tell from all her wedding shoots (ours included) that her care and attention to detail, coupled with a wonderfully artistic eye produces beautiful, unique and stylish memories of the day.

Eliza was so great. We had a tricky start to the day (My bridesmaid heard first thing that her Mum had been taken into hospital – she couldn't get here to begin with so I had no help). Eliza just scooped up the littlest boy and girl and looked after them so I could start getting ready – the photos had to start later. And when they did, what an amazing job she did of them. I really do think her pictures are the perfect advert for her services. I recently wrote this message on her Facebook page about her blog, and how it helped me chose her to be our photographer;  'Eliza, your photographs really do speak for themselves; sing & shout for themselves, in fact. And that is exactly what your blog shows. It documents your work so clearly, and each entry glows like a perfect, clear little wedding filled snow globe!!

Franky and Carl - Pinewood Studios, London
It’s hard to find the words to describe how much we adore Eliza. She is such a talented photographer & a complete joy to be around. Her & her second shooter Marie put us both at ease, made Carl smile {which is near unheard of in photographs} and even managed to get some decent shots of our two year old son who really isn’t keen on staying still for very long! Eliza really captured the cinematic magic of the venue & I can’t help but think she made Carl & I look like a couple of 1930s movie stars that have just wandered off set. I can honestly say her incredible photos of our day will be treasured by us & our families forever.

Our biggest fear before hiring you was that you wouldn't get us. But you absolutely did. The pre wedding shoot was great and we got to chat to you about what we wanted on our big day! We loved that you just blended in as one of our friends. It was very important for us that no one felt uncomfortable and needed to pose more than on the "official" photos with the family's, and you really manage to capture the day without having to ask people to smile to the camera! A big plus was that there was two photographers on the day so one could be with me while getting ready and the other one with the groom and his friends!
Definitely hire Eliza! She is easy going but very professional and captures all those little moments brilliantly.

Francesca and Mark - Sardinia Destination Wedding
We came across Eliza's work online and instantly fell in love with her photography style. Eliza was very professional and personable amongst the guests. She made us feel at ease during the pre-wedding shoot and during our wedding day. The entire event was captured perfectly by Eliza's tasteful vision, Eliza took many superb photographs of our friends and family that we will treasure forever.

Tanya and Hugo - Back Yard Wedding, London
I found Eliza on Love My Dress, as I really didn’t really know where to start with photographers.  I looked through lots of weddings featured on the blog and picked out the photographers who's style I liked the most.  We actually met several photographers but Eliza was the obvious choice both from her portfolio and her really friendly and practical approach. She had lots of ideas about how to approach all the elements we wanted to include and also offered to bring an assistant to cover our 200 guests She also included an engagement shoot which not only gave us some beautiful pictures but also helped us become more at ease with being photographed (something neither of us are naturally good at). On the day Eliza was great having Marie there as well meant she could take pictures of Hugo and the best men getting ready while Eliza stayed with me. They miraculously handled getting 200 people into one shot outside the small church resulting one of the best pictures of the wedding! We are thrilled with how the pictures have turned out particularly the portraits of us in the park.

Amanda and Richard - Barnsley House Hotel, Cotswolds
On the day of the wedding, you worked very professionally and discreetly and we were so impressed that you stayed so late. We were both so excited to see what pictures you had taken and looking at the photos afterwards brought it all back to us. We couldn't get over how you captured everybody looking so wonderful and how you had really caught the magic of the day. All our guests have commented on the photos and we can't thank you enough for giving us such wonderful memories to look at in the future.

Lisa and Ian - Hotel du Vin, Birmingham
Just wanted to say again Eliza how grateful we are to you for doing such a fabulous job on our photographs, and for just being generally fabulous on our wedding day. I'm not sure how you got some of the amazing shots that you did but we love every single one and can't stop looking at them. I've bored every family member and friend to death with a full show of every single shot!

Liz and Chris - Grantchester Meadows, Oxford
Eliza and Richard were fantastic on the day. They were encouraging, friendly and helpful, yet unobtrusive. We had already had a pre-wedding photoshoot with Eliza which was invaluable as it had given us an idea of what to expect and Eliza an idea of what we were looking for.

Nicky and Jonathan - Highcliffe Castle, Dorset
We booked Eliza to shoot our wedding before we even met her, we immediately loved the style of her photography on her website and the passion in which she spoke about each project, we were not disappointed when we met her for our pre-engagement shoot in St James’ Park where we got engaged and were even more pleased when our wedding photos arrived.

Polly and Rob - Back Yard Wedding, Suffolk
Eliza has the most incredible portfolio – she has breathtaking landscape shots of brides and grooms – they are truly the most incredible panoramic shots and we knew instantly that we wanted to work with her. She is incredibly friendly and within minutes of meeting her we knew she understood exactly what we were looking to capture. We are thrilled with our pictures.

Invest in the photographer. Your wedding happens once. After you take off the dress and veil, sign all of your invoices and say goodbye to guests – you are left with memories and photographs that will remind you of how perfect the day was. We were very lucky to have a fantastic photographer, Eliza Claire, who took time to get to know us both and knew what story we wanted to tell on our special day. Her vintage technique in her photographs made for some absolutely beautiful prints which now hang all over our flat! It was important that she capture “moments” and not focus too much on posed images. She was fantastic.

Rebecca and James - French Destination Wedding
Our biggest fear was that the ‘feeling’ of the day wouldn’t be captured through the pictures. Who was I kidding, looking back at them now, they make me feel exactly how I felt on the day…you can’t beat that. Eliza was cool, calm and relaxed throughout. Your direction of not only us but our wedding party was gentle and friendly making the whole thing effortless. What would I say to a friend looking to book a photographer? Get her, get her NOW!!!
