I met Kayleigh and Steve for the first time over coffee in Lewes and immediately loved them! They are funny and engaging, they have a great connection and I knew that their wedding would be something really special.
Kayleigh got ready at the Zetter Townhouse, one of my favourite places in London for bridal prep photos - the gorgeous light, classic setting and vintage styling suit my photography style perfectly - and her bridesmaids were so bubbly. I heard some great stories during the getting ready which I couldn't ever repeat!
From there, they walked the very short distance across the road to the Museum of the Order of St John - I hadn't photographed a wedding there previously but I fell in love with the place. It's simply stunning. After the ceremony (and the gorgeous bubble 'confetti' - a great alternative if you're not allowed confetti!), we all walked to The Peasant pub, just a 10 min walk away. One of Kayleigh and Steve's friends plays bagpipes and he lead the procession, which had a real carnival feel about it. That mood stayed all day and, as you can see from the photos, the most perfect day was had by all.
